Community Tools

At BICAS, we provide our patrons with access to bicycle tools and staff assistance, for a small hourly fee. This program is a great way to educate the public on the maintenance and proper use of their bicycles. BICAS supplies a fully equipped community tool shop for all your bike maintenance needs. Shop time and use of tools currently costs ONLY $4 an hour, with a cap of $12! Though we’ve loved providing cheap rates to our patrons, $4/hour and the $12 cap is no longer sustainable, especially while we are trying to raise and save enough money to buy our own building. We increased prices July 4th 2014 to a sliding scale system of $6-12 based on what you can afford and/or what you would like to pay for your service. Minimum charge of $3 for tool use.
