You can do your court ordered, and otherwise, community service with us.  Come into the shop when you’re ready to work. Community Service opportunities are available during open shop hours as well as during our WTF (Women, Trans, Femme) programming for our WTF community. Generally, it is first come, first serve basis. We recommend that you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Jobs include:

  • cleaning bike parts
  • checking innertubes for holes
  • organizing bins
  • sweeping and mopping
  • working on bikes with staff supervision

  • BICAS is one of the few places in Tucson that youth can complete community service hours.
  • 4,454 hours of Community Service were completed by 419 people, including 167 youth. (2017)
Hello how are you?
