You can do your court ordered, school mandated, or other community service with us!  Come into the shop when you’re ready to work. Community Service opportunities are available during open shop hours Tues-Sat, as well as during our WTF (Women/Trans,/Femme) programming for our WTF community. Generally, it is available on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend that you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Youth ages 13-18 are welcome to participate during non-school hours. Youth under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Jobs may include:

  • cleaning bike parts
  • checking tubes for holes
  • organizing bins
  • sweeping and mopping
  • disassembling bikes

Factoids:

  • BICAS is one of the few places in Tucson that youth can complete community service hours.
  • 4,454 hours of Community Service were completed by 419 people, including 167 youth. (2017)
