COVID-19 Information
With careful thought and planning we are structuring our camps and classes following CDC considerations to protect students, families, and our community. We are:
- Requiring that staff and students wear a mask that covers their face and nose at all times indoors. Snack breaks will happen outdoors in open air with physical distancing.
- Daily health and temperature checks upon arrival.
- Children exhibiting symptoms of COVID 19 cannot return to class until receiving a negative covid test. If there is a positive test the families of all students will be informed.
We ask that you help us protect the health of students and staff. Anyone who is sick or was sick with COVID-19 or recently in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days— including staff, students, and families— should not come to class. Be on the lookout for symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and loss of taste or smell. Call your doctor if you think you or a family member is sick.
If you have a specific question about this plan or COVID-19, please contact us at youth@bicas.org for more information.
