  Here you are! You made it to Class 3! In this class we are going to cover some safety basics that you’ll need to know to ride in the roads with traffic. We’ll talk about checking over your bike, yourself, and the rules of the road. At the bottom you will find the link to your 3rd and final quiz. So let’s jump right in! First things first — make sure your bike is safe to ride by performing and ABC Quick Check every time you ride. Watch the short video below to learn how! Check your memory (feel free to watch the video again if you need help): Now that you know your bike is ready to ride, let’s take a look at what to expect when you’re out on the road: We’ve looked at the bike and we’ve looked at the laws, so it’s time to take a look at you! There are a few things that you can do to make yourself even more safe and visible on the road: Once you start riding out in the world, you’re also going to need to know how to make sure your bike stays…well…yours! Bike theft is rampant in Tucson, so take a peek at this interactive video from the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition to learn how to properly lock up your bike.
