BICAS Art featured in Arizona Daily Star!
We’re so excited to see BICAS Art featured in the Daily Star! And even more excited to see Meaghan, one of our favorite people!
An invaluable artist volunteer, Meaghan utilizes our welding station in the BICAS art area during drop-in crafting hours, and donates a ton of her work to BICAS. A graduate of our welding workshops, you may have seen some of her breathtaking welding sculptures in the gallery — they’re standout at any BICAS Art event!
Text of the Article:
Meaghan Conway works on her latest elephant sculpture during Crafternoons at Bicas, 2001 N. Seventh Ave.
The arts program occurs from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays through May 31. It resumes in September after its summer hiatus.
Bicas offers a variety of material, including more traditional art supplies, some pointers and space for creators.
Artists are not limited to bicycle related parts or subjects. Fees for the sessions are suggested donations and based on supplies used, time in the workshop and tools borrowed. Email bicas@bicas.org for more information.
Thank you to Arizona Daily Star.
