BICAS Annual Art Auction
The BICAS Annual Art Auction is a weekend bash in December that showcases the work of some of Tucson’s greatest artists, supporting our mission with their donated bicycle-inspired art. Over the past quarter of a century, BICAS’ largest annual fundraiser of the year has grown into a staple of the Tucson calendar, celebrating the work of local artists and helping to fund our community programs! This all-ages event is accompanied by food, drinks, and live entertainment.
The 27th Annual Art Auction will be held on December 7th.
The 27th Annual Art Auction is in six months, and BICAS is seeking bicycle-inspired artwork and art made from bike parts in all mediums. Artists are welcome to use scrap bike parts from BICAS! This is a great chance to showcase your art while supporting a good cause. Since returning in 2022, the BICAS art auction has stayed true to its mission, filling our own hearts with breathtaking arrays of art. Let’s pedal together towards our pre-pandemic attendance goals with your donated bike art!

27th Annual Art Auction Poster
We’d like to thank the winner of our 2024 Annual Art Auction T-Shirt and Poster Contest, Lee Ferris! This shirt and poster will be locally printed in Tucson, AZ. We were absolutely blown away by the design!
You can look forward to a full feature on the artist in the coming months.

Past years have took the design used in the Art Auction commemorative shirt and poster on a winding road. Different designs or one and the same, staff created or externally commissioned, the nonprofit has experimented with an approach to this special piece. This made it especially exciting that in 2024, BICAS returned to our roots by holding a contest for a design that will be both on the commemorative t-shirt and the poster! All proceeds go towards our decades-long mission is to promote accessibility to bicycle transportation and the arts.
Thank you Lee Ferris!

In 2023, we were excited to hold this two-evening fundraiser in the lovely courtyard at the Splinter Collective Warehouse December 8th and 9th, from 5 PM to 9 PM, a community space for safe, accessible, and equitable liberatory art practices and social justice organizing. With fresh ventilation and a spacious walkspace, we’re happy to be holding the event at this venue!
