Join us for a group bike ride from the UA campus to BICAS' WTF (Women, Transgender, Femme) Workshop! Receive a welcome tour, refreshments, and a short mechanical demonstration by BICAS staff. Please register to attend this free event. We ask that all participants identify as women, transgender, or femme.

BICAS WTF LogoStarting on campus at 4pm, BICAS WTF staff will lead a brief bicycle safety lesson, followed by a leisurely group ride of 30-45 minutes from UA campus to BICAS, located in downtown Tucson. The ride will end at the BICAS WTF Workshop where the group will receive refreshments, a welcome tour, and an introduction about how to use this community space. The WTF staff will then give a short demonstration on a basic bicycle repair topic.

After the program ends around 6pm, participants will be invited to ask BICAS WTF staff mechanical questions and/or sign in to use the shop and learn to work on their own bicycles at the regular shop rate of $6-$12/hr sliding scale.

About WTF:

BICAS WTF Workshop is a community program created to empower and educate people identifying as women, girls, transgender, femme, feminine, genderqueer, trans-feminine, trans-masculine, and/or those who feel that their socialization or treatment as a woman/trans*person/femme has impeded their participation in bicycle mechanics.
