Starting on campus at 4pm, BICAS WTF staff will lead a brief bicycle safety lesson, followed by a leisurely group ride of 30-45 minutes from UA campus to BICAS, located in downtown Tucson. The ride will end at the BICAS WTF Workshop where the group will receive refreshments, a welcome tour, and an introduction about how to use this community space. The WTF staff will then give a short demonstration on a basic bicycle repair topic.
After the program ends around 6pm, participants will be invited to ask BICAS WTF staff mechanical questions and/or sign in to use the shop and learn to work on their own bicycles at the regular shop rate of $6-$12/hr sliding scale.
