Work Trade
BICAS stays true to its original mission of helping those in need through our Work Trade Program. You do not need money to come fix your bike or purchase used bicycle parts needed for your bike. Instead, choose to earn shop time and shop credit for parts through Work Trade.
1 hour of Work Trade: $6 of shop credit or 2 hours of community tool rental ($3/hour)
14 hours of Work Trade: enables an individual to select a bicycle from our donations, build it up using the community tools and used parts, and gain hands-on knowledge.
Work Trade tasks could include helping us clean, sort, disassemble and organize the space, bicycles and parts in BICAS. Come ask us about what you can do to help out and earn what you need.
