Weed & Seed

Since 2003, a grant made possible by the Westside Coalition Weed and Seed Program of the Tucson Police Department enables BICAS to offer our renowned build-a-bike workshops at no cost to residents of all ages of the following neighborhoods:

• Barrio Anita
• Barrio Blue Moon
• Barrio Hollywood
• Dunbar/Spring
• El Rio
• Menlo Park
• Silvercroft

If you live in one of these neighborhoods (or think you do), come ask us how you can take advantage of a great opportunity. You get classes and a bike, for FREE!!

Our goal is to help the neighborhoods that we serve become cleaner, healthier, and safer by offering community members a safe, fun, interactive way of learning about bicycles. It will help students understand that they are valued members of their communities in which they can take control of their own lives and environment through sustainable transportation and recycling.
