BICAS 2005 Art Auction (18 images)
The 10th Annual BICAS Art Auction, a fund raiser
for the non-profit community bicycle co-operative BICAS, took place 20 Nov 2005 at Flash
Gallery in downtown Tucson, Arizona. Items ranged from jewelry to
paintings, photographs to furniture, sculpture to tableware, with the
majority of items made out of recycled bicycle parts. Each item was
accompanied by a bid sheet, on which attendees could silently record
their bids. The photographs below (and movie clip at the end)
focus on the people and some
not-for-sale items that were on display. A separate
