BICAS Art Workshops
BICAS offers art workshops on tuesdays from 5-8pm and at other times throughout the year that make use of recycled bike parts as well as other recycled materials. You could make inner tube wallets, tire belts, mobiles, sculptures, or jewelry. (For examples of the kinds of things you can make, visit our art gallery or take a look at the art auction catalog.)
Check our events calendar for upcoming art workshops or contact our art department if you would like to arrange a group workshop for your school, neighborhood, friends, etc. Class suggestions are always appreciated, and we welcome guest teachers to lead a workshop.
Use the art area on your own
You don't have to wait for a workshop. Our art area is available during open shop hours. Members of our art department are generally available to offer artistic assistance, and in a pinch you can seek help from one of our mechanics, many of whom are also bicycle artists.
