Because BICAS is a non-profit organization, we rely on donations from the public. We are always very grateful to receive financial contributions as well as donations of bicycles and bicycle parts in any condition. All donations are tax-deductible.

Recycle... and ride a bicycle!

Bicycle Inter-Community Art and Salvage (or BICAS for short) is a non-profit community cooperative dedicated to promoting and recycling bicycles, bicycle awareness, and bicycle art and culture.

BICAS does many things:

We sell quality, reconditioned, used bikes that are very reasonably priced.
We rent bikes by the day or by the week.
We have a full-service repair shop and a fully-stocked stash o' used parts for sale. You can bring your bike down and rent shop space to work on it yourself.
We have a custom metal works shop where we make sculptures, bike racks, gates, and just about any other damn thing you can imagine out of old bike parts.
We conduct hands-on classes that teach folks of all ages the art of bike-ology.
